Costa Blanca

"Costa Blanca" (White Coast) is the name of the 200 km long coastline coast located in the southeast of Spain, province of Alicante, which comprises from the municipality of Denia to that of Pilar de la Horadada.

We find as well wide sandy beaches as small coves and beautiful landscapes with palm groves, wetlands and several nature parks. Fantastic are as well the climate, with over 300 days of sunshine per year and an annual average temperature of 17 degrees Celsius, as the tourist facilities that can be found along this coast. North of Alicante there is Denia, Javea, Calpe, with its massive rock formations, in the south of it there are the artist's paradise Altea, Albir, as well as the European Manhattan, Benidorm, with incredible leisure facilities and nightlife. Passing Cala Finestrat and El Campello the way leads on to the Villajoyosa.  South of Alicante along the coast you will find Santa Pola, Guardamar, Torrevieja and Pilar de la Horadada among the most important cities. Inland from Santa Pola you will find the fairly large city of Elche. On the Southern part of Costa Blanca you need to go 10-20 kilometres inland to find mountains. This makes the area more dry, but also makes the area especially around Torrevieja as one of the areas in Europe with the best all-year climate.

Denia

With more than 40.000 inhabitants, Denia is a city where you will be able to find a bit of everything. Golf, restaurants, beaches and mountains in the backyard. In the centre of Denia you will find lovely plazas with local restaurants and lots of tapas. From Denia you can take a ferry to Ibiza in only 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Javea

South of Denia and on the other side of the Montgo Mountain you will find Javea. Close to 30.000 habitants are found in Javea, around half of them are foreigners. Due to the mountains and many cliffs surrounding Javea you will find many minor stunning beaches.

Calpe

Calpe is a typical coast city with holiday homes hotels, lovely beaches and a population around 30.000. What automatically draws your attention is the huge rock, Ifach that stretches 332 meters up in the air. It's possible to climb all the way to the top, from where you have stunning views.

Altea

South of Calpe you will find Altea. Altea has a bit of everything. Beach promenade, holiday homes, restaurants and hotels. From the village you have magnificent overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the coast line.

Benidorm

The most accurate nickname of Benidorm is Europe's Manhattan. Back in 1960 Benidorm was a fishing village, but due to some stunning beaches and surrounding nature Benidorm is today a tourist paradise with hotels, bars, restaurants and night life. Benidorm has the most high-rise buildings per capita in the world.

Villajoyosa

A typical Spanish coastal city with around 30.000 inhabitants. Villajoyosa offers more than 3 kilometres of beaches, including "La Platja Centre" (central beach) in the centre but also the "paradise" beach south of the centre. Villajoyosa is especially known for the properties in the centre in different colours.

Alicante

Alicante is more or less located in the middle of Costa Blanca, and is also where you find Alicante Airport which typically takes you to Costa Blanca. Alicante city is quite big and has around 330.000 inhabitants. In Alicante you will find a wide variety of shops, restaurants, bars, promenades, marina and beaches.

Elche, Gran Alacant

Elche is the 20th largest city in Spain, with around 230.000 inhabitants. Elche is especially known for the "The Palm Grove of Elche". With more than 200.000 palm trees, it was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 2000. Fine and golden sandy beach of Arenales del Sol located in the east of the municipality of Elche, showing a unique dune system are the natural qualities of this beach witch together with the wide range of services, have turned it to be a very visited place.

Santa Pola

Santa Pola has around 30.000 inhabitants. Santa Pola is known for fishing, tourism and the salt production which is found inland from the city.

Guardamar del Segura

Village Guardamar del Segura, located at the moth of the river Segura. With around 16.000 inhabitants in Guardamar you will find a lovely city centre with restaurants, bars, shops and huge park areas. Guardamar offers more than 10 kilometres of lovely sand beaches.

Torrevieja

Torrevieja is the 3rd largest city on Costa Blanca with a population of 110.000 inhabitants. Torrevieja is a huge tourist magnet due to magnificent climate forced by the two salt lakes and mountains inland which creates a micro climate. In the north of Torrevieja you will find about 3  kilometres of sandy beaches in the "La Mata" area. Going further south you find minor beaches amongst the rocks. In the centre you will find 4 major beaches of "Playa de Los Locos", "Playa del Cura", Playa Acequion" and "Playa de los Naufragos". One of the things Torrevieja is known for is the many kilometres of promenades. All year around you will find people walking, jogging or running the many promenades in Torrevieja. In the centre you will find many restaurants and bars on the promenades.

Orihuela Costa

Orihuela Costa does not have a city centre. Orihuela Costa is a huge area with several suburb areas such as Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor, Villamartin and Los Altos. In Orihuela Costa you will furthermore find 4 golf courses, including the award winning Las Colinas Golf & Country Club. As well there is located the huge shopping centre, Zenia Boulevard.

Ciudad Quesada

Ciudad Quesada is located approximately 8 kilometres inland from the beach of Guardamar de la Segura. The town centre of Ciudad Quesada is well provided with shops, bars, restaurants, a golf course and its own water park. There are many championship golf courses to choose from: Villamartin, Las ramblas and Campoamar are the closest. There are many more within an hour’s drive.There are an abundance of flamingos and other wildlife on the salt lakes. The area is considered to have a very healthy climate

Villamartin

Villamartin is a fast growing tourist destination located on the Southern Costa Blanca, just west of Torrevieja. Villamartin has plenty of attractions. Primarily this is about the climate and Villamartin weather – the sunshine and heat. The Villamartin plaza is most certainly worth a mention. This is a square with a black and white chessboard pattern surrounded by shops, bars, cafes, banks and restaurants. In the heat of summer the nightlife atmosphere is buzzing with life and noise.

Benijofar

Benijofar is located inland on the Southern Costa Blanca, close to the tourist resorts of Guardamar del Segura and Torrevieja. The small town of Benijofar is popular with expats and is also close to the expat towns of Formentera del Segura, Ciudad QuesadaAlgorfa, Rojales, AlmoradiSan Fulgencio and Heredera. Benijofar is also a popular place to stay for the summer holidays as it is close enough to the coastal resorts yet quiet enough to be able to get away from it all. There are several golf courses close by as well as water parks in nearby Rojales and Torrevieja.

Punta Prima

Punta Prima is actually both found in Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa. Here you will find lovely promenades, beach bars and of course the beach. By the N-332 you will find a number of great restaurants as well as the Punta Prima Restaurant right on the sea front.

Playa Flamenca, La Zenia

Playa Flamenca is an area with a bit of everything. On the sea front you will find a beautiful square with palm trees and a promenade that will take you all the way to Campoamor. South of Playa Flamenca you will find La Zenia. Here you will find the extremely popular shopping centre, Zenia Boulevard.

Cabo Roig

In Cabo Roig you will find one of the nicest stretches on the promenade from Playa Flamenca to Campoamor. Along the N-332 you will find the popular "Cabo Roig Strip" with restaurants, bars, cafes and much more.

Campoamor

In Campoamor you will find kilometres of white sand beaches, a marina and lots of typical Spanish restaurants. By tradition lots of Families from Murcia have had their holiday homes for decades here.

Las Colinas Golf and Country Club

Inland in Campoamor you will find a place like no other on Costa Blanca. Las Colinas offers some of the most prestigious properties on the southern part of Costa Blanca, an 18 hole championship golf course and has it's own private Beach Club frontline to the beach at the popular and beautiful Playa La Glea.

Mil Palmeras

Mil Palmeras beach is definitely one of the best beaches along the coastline with good clean sand and clean waters of the Mediterranean Sea. It has all the usual amenities such as sun loungers, umbrellas to rent, bars, volley ball, showers and WC’s (toilets).

Torre de la Horadada

Torre de la Horadada is a coastal resort located on the Southern Costa Blanca with some fine sandy beaches which are ideal for families with children who have come to spend their summer holidays. Torre de la Horadada is your typical Spanish sea side resort with villas, townhouses and apartments located on urbanisations, purpose built for people to buy their second homes. Torre de la Horadada offers lovely beaches, marina, Spanish charm with plazas, restaurants and bars.
